Chef Robbie

Robbie has a true passion for food and dining. He loves seeing the smiles on his guests faces when they take that first bite of food. The dance between the chef and service is something that Robbie enjoys, because good food with good service makes for an extraordinary experience. He also loves brainstorming with clients to make an event truly unique through experiential cooking.

 Experience

Robbie is a Culinary Institute of America graduate with an associates and bachelors degree in the culinary arts. He grew up in Northern Michigan working his first job at the age of 15 in a 5 diamond Renaissance Marriott in Bay Harbor. He quickly rose to be a go to chef in the kitchen, he then worked tandemly with the Executive Chef at the Bay Harbor Golf Club. During school he staged at the 5 diamond resort, The Chatham Bars Inn. He holds four leadership awards from the CIA and was the President of the Gourmet Society. After school, he moved to Texas and started the Sur La Table cooking school in the Houston City Centre as the Resident Chef. After that, he started Savory Celebration to offer a high end customized culinary experience to the private residences of Houston. Robbie has always focused on fine dining cuisine and has his own unique style he has developed over 17 years of culinary and dining experience. Plated is a completely customized dining experience incorporating many aspects of experiential cuisine. Robbie enjoys working with clients to put on the perfect event that will wow their friends, family, and guests.
